About Us

Welcome to Zodiak

The quality furnished properties we manage are mainly located in Auckland CBD and the central suburbs, and our aim is to provide an exceptional guest experience from booking to checkout. We stock all of our properties with high quality and eco-friendly guest amenities, and most of our properties have a 24/7 self check-in option available meaning you can check-in anytime, hassle-free.

As Auckland's premium short-term rental accommodation provider, our aim is to be the place where guests, property owners and our team are treated best. We achieve this by focusing on constant improvement in all areas of our service, and this is why we love all feedback on how we can keep getting better and better. Our reviews are evidence that our approach is working so that's great to see, but we know that better never stops!

Check-in Options

At Zodiak, we offer two check-in methods that you can choose from in the online check-in form you will be sent once your booking is confirmed.

1. Self Check-in Lockbox Method: You pick up your key from a digital lockbox located at one of our CBD check-in locations (for most apartments), or you pick up a key from a lockbox located at the property (for most houses or units). Double-check the specific property listing information on where the lockbox will be located for each property as we have multiple locations around the CBD. With this method, you can check-in at any time, day or night.

2. Personal Check Method: One of our friendly staff can meet you at the property and help you check-in. This method depends on staff availability though, and is only available until 9pm. You can pay for this extra service in the online check-in form.

Property Specific Information

Take a look at the listing information for details about the property layout, amenities, location, parking etc. The properties we manage are all unique, and feature different layouts and locations within Auckland Central, so it's worth having a closer read so you can see exactly what your property will come with.

Welcome to Auckland

Located between the beautiful Waitamata Harbour to the North-East and the Waitakare Ranges to the West, Auckland City has it all! From wild, rugged beaches and dormant volcanoes to high-end luxury shopping and fine dining, The City of Sails has something special for everyone. The iconic Sky Tower can be seen from miles around, pinpointing the very centre of Auckland CBD, New Zealand's largest city (by far!) and the business centre for the country.

Home to over 1.6 million people and growing quickly, Auckland has become a truly international city and has received recognition on the world stage by being voted as the 8th most livable city in the world in 2025.

What to Do in Auckland

Everything you need is within walking distance in Auckland CBD! Here are some suggestions for things to see and do on your next visit.

The Viaduct

The best bars and restaurants in the city! The New Zealand Maritime Museum is here, as well as Silo Park where you can watch outdoor films for free in the evening. You can also catch ferries from here to the amazing islands in the Hauraki Gulf like Waiheke, Tiritiri Matangi, and Rangitoto, as well as go on a whale and dolphin safari.

Federal Street

Next to the Sky Tower (you can't miss it!) There are a lot of really nice bars and restaurants and cafes in this street, as well as the Sky City Casino and of course the Sky Tower. Dine at the top of tower at restaurant with the best views in Auckland, and jump off the Sky Walk to get down

Aotea Square

Auckland's cultural centre. Surrounding the square you'll find the Town Hall, Aotea Centre, Event cinemas, and two theatres (The Civic and the Q). The square itself is a nice place to people watch and sip some coffee. An ice-rink is the main attraction here during winter.

Albert Park, Art Gallery and the Museum

Albert Park is a lovely place where you can chill and read, and the Auckland art gallery is next door on Wellesley Street. If you keep walking up Wellesley Street, past Auckland University, and across Grafton Road, you will eventually find Auckland Domain which is the biggest park in Auckland and has the Auckland War Memorial Museum, as well as an amazing botanical garden.

Karangahape Road (a.k.a 'K' Road)

If you head up the hill on Queen Street, you'll eventually reach K Road, where you'll find Auckland's alternative night scene. Many great bars, live music, shisha cafes, and cheap takeaways are what K Road is known for.

Ponsonby

If you head West of the CBD, you will find the Ponsonby area. There is old colonial-style architecture there, many great stores for shopping, restaurants, bars, and cafes. Some of the best restaurants in Auckland are here, especially great for fine dining as this is an up-market area of Auckland.

Shopping
Queen Street (main street the city) is filled with luxury brand shops, bars, cafes, restaurants, live music venues, and more! Make sure you explore High Street as well, which lies just parallel to Queen Street. That whole area is very nice to walk, relax, or for dining out.

Further Afield

If you want to explore further Auckland then you can take a walk towards the Viaduct from the apartment. There you will find Britomart station (bus and train).
