Some issues with the central air. We couldn't find how to make the bedrooms cool down and found the instructions confusing. We were only given one house key and had to wait to be let in past the agreed time. The photos also made the place look bigger than what it actually is. Overall it was fine but not as nice as I was expecting.

I always stay at Stefan’s place whenever I come to Auckland and I am always very satisfied. The location is excellent and it is about a 15 minute walk to Queen Street with many food options nearby. The house is quiet, clean and well kept, and it has all the basic kitchen essentials for cooking. Check in was very smooth and communication with the host was quick and easy. Highly recommended!

I had such a lovely stay. The place was comfortable and exactly as described. Check in was simple, the location was perfect and the team was so thoughtful and responsive the entire time. Amazing location and a beautiful spacious apartment with excellent ammenities as listed. We had a few issues that we communicated as being unhappy about as the did not match the description accurately but the host was responsive about these issues by thanking us for the feedback and assuring these issues would be resolved the the next guests. - Shower head cradle was broken so to shower you needed to hold the shower in place. - Bathroom was in need of a deep clean, particularly the shower. - Apartment had a strong cigarette smell on arrival that lingered throughout the stay - Sofa was a bit stained and buttons were ripped off - Kitchen basics were missing: salt and oil - Kitchen sponge was old and dirty so I had to buy a new one to do dishes and wipe benches. Aside from these issues (which I have requested a partial refund for) the apartment was fantastic and if these issues were to be resolved I would definitely stay there again.

Great central location, walk distance to city center (mind you it's hilly). Multiple bus stops around the corner. Supermarket within 10 min walk. Nice apartment. Modern decoration, two queen sized beds, modern bathroom and basic equipped kitchen. You find enough pots and pans, plates and cutlery to make dinner for 4.

My experience at this apartment was very good ! Would recommend for couples or a small family. Stefan was friendly and proactive throughout the entire stay. The location was perfect for our needs, also close proximity to malls,restaurants,etc. Due to no on site parking,finding a carpark was difficult. Would recommend Victoria market park carpark. Cons- Air conditioning could be improved, bedroom’s were quite stuffy throughout the night. Minor lighting issues in the bathroom. Pros- Spotless modern apartment! The beds were extremely comfortable. Great location and service.

It’s the second time I’ve chosen to stay at Stefan’s place. Just like last time, overall, I am satisfied with my three-night stay. It’s a quiet apartment located in the Auckland city center, close to everything you need. The apartment is clean, and the check-in process is smooth. Stefan is also friendly and responsive. However, some facilities need repair. The kitchen’s food disposal isn’t working, causing the sink to drain very slowly. Since we didn’t cook often during our stay, it didn’t affect us much. Similarly, the bathroom sink also drains slowly, but it didn’t significantly impact our use. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Let me preface this by saying I really, really want to give this place 5 stars - Stefan was incredibly friendly, responsive, and helpful. The apartment was very well-kept, true to the description, and in a great, easy location. I chose 3 stars because a number of the amenities/appliances were broken and/or malfunctioning (kitchen sink, dishwasher, and washer/dryer) and only one of the key tags for entry worked, so my roommate and I could not go out separately. I deliberately chose a location with a washer/dryer and dishwasher because I knew I would need them multiple times over my long-term stay, and both of them were broken for the entirety. I did communicate with Stefan and he was incredibly helpful, and we did sort out fixing the sink. However, this was after having to wait for a plumber on a weekend while I was working, who did not end up fixing the dishwasher, and who could not let himself in because they did not have a spare key. The washer/dryer did not get fixed at all.

It's unfortunate that property management companies are taking over AirBnB. They offer all of the downsides of a hotel with none of the benefits. The apartment itself was fine - a bit small and poorly ventilated (the bedrooms were HOT despite the a/c), but fine if you're not planning on spending too much time inside. However, dealing with the "host" is needlessly complicated and very impersonal. Good luck if you want to deviate from the rules whatsoever (checking in or out at times other than the normal, storing luggage, etc.) - they'll try to charge you extra for everything. They also tried to bill us for a tiny stain on a sofa that was there before us. Fortunately, AirBnB agreed that their claim wasn't reasonable, but it made the whole thing feel even more impersonal. There are many other places in Auckland that are a better value, run by individual people who are happy to make accommodations around your needs, and all-around nicer. Would not book this apartment again.

Really enjoyed my stay at this Airbnb! Stefan was great, very responsive and friendly. My flight landed and didn't get to the place until after 11pm and there was somebody waiting for me to show me the place! The Airbnb was very clean, in great condition, and in an amazing location. Right across from the park and within walking distance to a lot of great places in the heart of downtown. Definitely would recommend!

Great location, right in the heart of the CBD, a 10-minute walk to Queen Street. The apartment itself is spacious. I had stayed in another unit in the same building before, but Stefan’s place is clearly better: quiet, super clean, and matches the description. The check-in instructions were clear. I was 40 minutes late due to terrible traffic, but Stefan’s team member, River, was patient and responsive, waiting for me for a long time. Recommend and will choose to stay here again if I have the chance to visit Auckland in the future.

1. Check-in failed. Firstly, it is not self check-in like it described on airbnb. You have to arrange a meeting with the host\stuff, and wait for him on the street. Instructions, given on airbnb, are false. I noticed the host time when we came. Also, I gave a call to the host 30 mins before I came (as the host asked me). Anyway he was 20 mins. I, my wife and child were staying on the street, in the cold under the rain after the 12h flight. My daughter caught a cold and stayed home all time. 2. Apparts: - broken locks on the toilet doors - any can enter, - rangehood fan doesn’t turn off, - creaky doors - a leaking faucet.on the floor in bathroom all of that I reported to the host everyday for 5 days in a row. What was fixed? Nothing. Even when we checked out after 9 days - nothing was fixed. So, if you are lucky and will not face problems, the service will be the same as from others. Otherwise Stefan doesn't care about proper check-in or any house issues you have.

Great location. Felt that it needed a better clean in the bathroom as there was mold growing in the shower. Bed was comfortable.

A great option to stay in the centre of Auckland, great location, well equipped apartment and very comfortable. The host was super responsive and made everything very easy. The only thing to be aware of is the key pick up is about a 7min walk from where the apartment is, an easy walk but good to know.

The apartment is located in a great place, close to the park. The host responds quickly, the check in was quick and efficient. The apartment is well equipped, it is a clean, tidy and pleasant place to stay. We had a fantastic stay!

Everything was pretty good! The location was very close to everything. The only tiny problem I had was the hairdryer not being powerful enough, would recommend to byo.

Great location and good for a brief stay, although you could not open windows in the bedroom so gets quite hot and stuffy and there was no dryer

Perfect weekend getaway - apartment is situated in a great, central spot yet has minimal road noise. Clean apartment, would recommend.

We had a great stay at the apartment. The location was fantastic, and the place was nice and tidy. We would happily stay again for a city getaway.
