The owner was very responsive and check in was very easy. Great location and a good size. Only complaint is that there was a really unpleasant smell in the apartment that we were unable to get rid of in the two nights we spent there. It really detracted from our enjoyment of our stay and made us reluctant to spend any time in the apartment. I would not return unless this issue had been resolved

We stayed for over a month and were truly disappointed. The apartment was not properly cleaned at check-in and already showed signs of poor upkeep — dusty cupboards, stained bedding, and a general lack of hygiene and care. There was barely any toilet paper, no soap, and no spare towels or linen. When we asked for clean linen during the stay, we were told to “check the cupboard” — but there was nothing there. Eventually, we were told we’d need to pay extra just to have someone bring fresh linen, which felt unreasonable given the length and cost of our stay. The kitchen was also poorly equipped — most utensils were old, mismatched or unusable. We barely touched them and had to buy our own. After checkout, we were shocked to receive a compensation claim for items we never used, clearly already in bad condition. We declined the charge. It’s unfortunate — the apartment could host an entire family, but the service and care didn’t reflect that. A disappointing experience overall.

Place was good. The lack of lift wasn't really an issue as people say, it's 3rd story apartment its only 2 flights of stairs not 3. Place was clean and had everything.

The loft was good value for money and included a private carpark. A couple things for guests to be mindful of, there is no lift and it’s the 3rd floor.

Overall this was a great central location in Auckland. The space itself was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was truly amazing. Stefan was very responsive to any messages I sent. Unfortunately there wasn’t a table to eat at (other than the coffee table/couch) and being across the street from a daycare meant that it was fairly noisy during the day on weekdays.

I really wish that they had wrote it was on the second floor with no elevator. I probably wouldn’t have chosen it if I knew this ahead of time as I was with my elderly mother and had heavy bags. I also thought the check out process was a little bit of a hassle if you have a car and need to move it out of the parking garage and then leave the keys in the room, as well as taking out the garbage is a bit of a hassle too since it’s in the parking garage (3 floors down). I did like the space of the place though, quite spacious for two people with nice amenities and the place was nice and clean. Having a gated parking garage was a big perk and helped put my mind to ease at night knowing my vehicle was safe. Overall, I had a great stay once settled in.

The place was okay overall. It was walkable to downtown and beds were comfortable. But not really worth the price. There were stains on the couch pillows and they made us take the trash out even though we paid a cleaning fee. Probably are nicer places for less money in the area.

The wifi name was not found as per instruction but host helped to get other wifi. However the signal not quite stable, but can manage.

This place has a great location, close to the city! Preschool 100m across the road so I wouldn't recommended if you want to work from home, very loud and disruptive.

Great place, although finding the garage was a bit of a mission! Some of the cushions on the couch has stains on them but I informed the host and they said they would ensure that it would get cleaned after we leave.

Great communication from the hosts and brilliant that early check in and late check out was available for a small price. Would definitely recommend to a friend and stay here again.

Good place, not the best but good for the price. Bit disappointing about the lack of hot water though which would turn cold after 3 minutes in the shower meaning that no one could have a warm shower! But other then that, cosy and convenient place. They also only gave us one roll of toilet paper and almost empty toiletries which was a bit of an issue when we ran out of toilet paper the first night!

We had a pleasant stay in the apartment. Stefan was quick to communicate with and accommodating. We were a bit disappointed in the check-out. We were billed 100 dollars for smoking in the apartment when no one in our party smoked. This put a bit of a sour end to the trip.

Property was very basic, unfortunately the apartment had a terrible smell of old food, only stayed one out of the two nights we paid for sue to this issue and the street was extremely noisey.

We stayed in this apartment for 10 days - we booked it as we were back from the UK to visit family and friends, whilst also needing somewhere to work remotely for a week. Positives - location was fantastic, we could easily walk to Ponsonby/Newmarket/CDB or alternatively take quick and affordable Ubers everywhere we needed. Negatives - overall, we thought the state of the apartment was quite poor and not particularly good value for money, especially if you wanted to use both bedrooms. - cleanliness: this was very poor and we contacted the host company immediately to raise issues around random items left everywhere (including a used false fingernail), unclean kitchen and bathroom surfaces etc. After a bit of back and forth communication, we asked for a refund of the cleaning fee which they eventually agreed to - furnishings: everything here is a bit worn, and as a result the apartment felt uninviting. I needed to use the desk area to work and had to sit on an office chair (no other chairs in the apartment) which had all the upholstery peeling off, the cushions on the sofa were stained, furniture in bedrooms was mismatched and impractical (huge dresser but only one bedside table and lamps with no bulbs) - curtains/blinds: there is nothing to cover the top row of windows directly under the ceiling so if you're sleeping in the mezzanine bedroom it is fairly light all night, and there is no blind in the downstairs bedroom to cover the internal window. For the location, it's great - but I don't think it was worth what we paid for our stay given the issues around cleanliness and state of furnishings.

The apartment was lovely and served its purpose but the overall experience was very dissapointing. The check-in process was not smooth at all - wrong lockbox - leaving us with nowhere to stay at 10 pm. Our car was stuck in the garage for 3 days - the remote didn't work. The company/host was hard to contact by phone - I called more than 10 times across the stay - no answer; and left messages that were never returned. An overall disappointing stay, would not book again until these kinks are worked out.
