Lovely 2 Bedroom Rental with Parking Zodiak Stays

One of the only affordable place we found in Auckland. Nice quiet block just a few mins walk from Mt. Eden park and a playground. Nice touches and kid’s toys which was a very nice surprise upon arrival! Comfortable beds and everything was cleaned well. The bathroom definitely needs updating, and things smelled a little musty but I imagine that’s a building issue rather than the unit. Again, for the price, we were very happy.

Stefan's apartment was great for our family overall. The apartment was well equipped, including board games for the kids. It has a nice view of the Sky Tower and Maungawhau is a short walk away.

The location is amazing. For those wanting to use public transport. Its close to several bus stops & routes. The area has a nice clean suburban neighbourhood feel. The building has families & professionals living in it. The apartmemt is very well set up for those looking not just for short stays but longer ones & plan to cook. The beds are comfortable.

While the location is perfect in Mount Eden, and the access is good, I would not recommend based on the following: Shower head – low pressure and dribbles. To use, person must use one hand to hold the head, the other to try and pick up the shampoo. There is no shelf in the shower to put body wash or shampoo, so user must pick up off the floor. Height of shower is approximately 10cm from the bathroom floor. This is a slip hazard. Mattress protector Covered in skin, nose boogers, and hair. It doesn’t look like it’s ever been cleaned. We tried using the vacuum to clean it, but the vacuum was filthy and didn’t do much. We had to pick all the hair off the mattress protector with our hands! Curtains and blinds broken. We have communicated the issues with the owner.

The apartment is in a great location in Mt Eden and was clean upon arrival, though the bathroom has poor ventilation. The host was responsive during our stay, which we appreciated. However, after our visit, we experienced an issue with a broken window handle. While we acknowledged the damage and offered to pay for a replacement, the host did not provide any quotes or explanation for the high replacement cost requested, which was disappointing. Overall, an average experience.

We enjoyed our stay at Stefan’s place. The location is great, with easy access to Mount Eden and everything around AKL. He was super responsive. On the night of our arrival, one of the window curtains didn’t work so I had to email him at a late hour. But he came back to me right away and eventually we made it work. Overall highly recommend!

Nice and tidy corner apartment on a quiet street in lovely neighborhood. Very walkable up to Mt Eden and village. Easy bus ride to Britomart, 15-20 minute walk to supermarket, and about 40 minute walk to Auckland Domain. Very pleasant stay!

Lovely light filled apartment. We thoroughly appreciated the location, especially to the Mt Eden Village and Mt Eden Summit. Excellent proximity for beautiful walks. We felt the apartment had all we required for 3 people and appreciated the usage of the tv channels for the downtime we had there. Comfortable and cosy. My only qualm would be that the Rav 4 we hired had great difficulty getting into the allocated car space as it is a very tight fit. We thankfully spent the majority of our time over the weekend which meant we could park on the street for free. Thanks again for for having us, Stefan. Appreciated your quick communication 🙂

We absolutely loved the area! Mt Eden is a wonderful place to stay and explore, such a beautiful walkable neighborhood. We also really appreciated the thoughtful touches such as laundry soap, candles, and tissues on the table. The apt has a well stocked kitchen and comfy beds. The 2nd bedroom is significantly smaller than the 1st, just fyi. Stefan was a responsive host. We enjoyed our time here!

we stayed with uncle hongs ashesin the cubboard.... in an apartment that needs maintenance ......and we had to sign on to more terms and conditions..... agree to pay all sorts of additional call out fees ....cleaning fees .....disturbance fees..... i would avoid .........will not be back.... well below the standards for air bnb

Stephan's place was exactly as the photographs showed and was clean and tidy providing what we needed for a two week stay. Communication was very good and quick and I would highly recommend the property to others looking for accommodation in the Mt. Eden area.

Check in was super easy, although we had a little trouble locating the carpark that was allocated to us. The kitchen was well stocked with cutlery, crockery and cooking things. The beds were comfy and the bathroom looked new. Some other parts of the apartment need a little TLC but it suited us and what we needed it for.

We had a great stay in this apartment. It was exactly what we needed for our 4 day-stay with our toddler. (We had to bring our portacot- but this was clearly communicated.) The apartment has enough space and is beautifully furnished. The kitchen is also well equipped and the basic stuff like coffee/tea and even some milk was provided. The Mt. Eden village is in walking distance and has great offers for brunch etc. And a bus stop to get into the CBD is close by as well. All in all we had a good time and were very happy with this place.

We are a little disappointed by this feedback because as we explained, we found several stains left on the carpet following your stay and so we needed to get in specialist carpet cleaners to remove them. This is not part of our regular cleaning service and so the additional cost did need to be passed on to you. Hope you understand.

While this Airbnb was close to Mt Eden and very clean, we had a poor experience checking in and got stuck in the small lift for up to an hour. The building management neglected the issue of the slow motor of the lift for a year and a half and especially with the recent flooding in Auckland, continues with the unsafe usage of this lift. We would not recommend this accommodation for people requiring wheelchair access, as the alternative to the lift is the three flights of stairs you'll have to climb up with your luggage. Please also note that booking this Airbnb will require you to fill out two additional forms and provide your identification, and there are additional charges for earlier check-in or later check-out times.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Stefan's place. Beautiful, comfy home for the week, smelt so nice and was squeaky clean when we walked in. Friendly neighbours. Great location - Close to shops and to the city, was very easy to find and clear instructions about the property. Stefan and his team are incredibly accommodating, understanding with great communication and quickly responded to all inquiries. We enjoyed our time there and always felt at home each time we returned from a long day. Strongly recommend Stefan as host and this air bnb :)
