My partner and I stayed here during our semester abroad at the University of Auckland, and it was terrific. Not only was the apartment proximal to the University, but it was also a great location to explore the city, being so close to Queen Street and public transit. The space size was perfect for us, and I really appreciated the amenities sourced from EcoStore. Stefan was responsive and accommodating of our needs - I'll surely miss my time spent living in this apartment :)

This is a very convenient apartment in the heart of Auckland city centre. Very well placed for public transport and many cafes and restaurants. a good amount of living space. Not far from the stop for the express airport bus. I thought the price paid was very reasonable for this apartment.

In a great location and has the basics for a comfortable short term stay. the hosts were extremely responsive and easy to get in touch with. There are a few things to be aware of, but that didn't make the experience negative. The building locks between the hours of 6pm-6am, and the apartment key doesn't give access to the building itself. You need a code for the front door, so be sure to ask for that. Luckily I met someone in the building who gave me their code. The check in instructions seem complicated but they are straight forward other than the mail room is actually labeled as "cleaners." There is a ton of construction happening near the airbnb right now (nov 2024) and some noise transfer does happen. There is some noise from above but it didn't seem too bad and I am sensitive to noise. The area is safe and walkable, which is great. The bathroom is very small and has been modified from some sort of storage closet so the shower has a large step into it. Overall, a great stay though.

Apartment was located in a great location and hosts were extremely responsive via the Airbnb app. Kudos to them for trying their very best to resolve and answer any issues/questions. However, the apartment had a noticeable smell despite me airing the house over 5 days. Unfortunately, the oven was not working properly and I was not able to cook my food. Additionally, the washing machine caused quite a bit of damage to my clothes so please be careful when using it! I initially thought that it was my fault so I used the washing machine only for it to damage my clothes again. Slightly disappointed but fair price for what was offered.

We are very sorry to hear that there were a couple of issues during your stay and that we didn't have the opportunity to rectify before your departure. We have since been able to address the odour issue and are satisfied this won't be a problem moving forward. Additionally, we have had our maintenance team investigate both the oven and washing machine and are happy to report that both of these are in perfect working condition. We are going to review the manuals and instructions provided for all appliances in the apartment and ensure that these are as clear and informative as possible. My partner and I enjoyed our 8 nights stay. The apartment has been cleverly been converted from an office and we benefited from high ceilings and a generous amount of space compared to new build apartments. The team dealt well with our questions and were very responsive. Being an older building you do hear some noise from the city however, that is the price you pay for having a central location in the heart of Auckland CBD. If you plan on spending the majority of your time walking and in the city this apartment is as central as you can be. We would happily stay here again.

Great place to stay while in Auckland. Convenient and walkable to places to eat, drink and see. The bed is incredibly comfortable and I slept very well even with the windows open to let in fresh air although I could smell some of the food aromas from the nearby restaurant. But that just enticed me to go down and grab a bite to eat

Beautiful airbnb right in the middle of the city--close to shops, restaurants, pubs, and the ferry. A little challenging to get inside the mailbox room, but was able to find someone to help unlock it. other than that, no issues. wifi was great the whole time. Having a washer/dryer was a big plus!!

The location is great and near lots of restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores. There's a lot of construction in the area but no noise inside the unit. The building itself is old and worn down, but the apartment is comfortable and has all the amenities you need. The long list of rules before check-in & check-out was a bit off-putting but not a big deal. Just make sure to get the (correct) code for the mail room, otherwise you can't access the lockbox.

This apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean and right in the middle of Auckland CBD so it was very convenient. The instructions weren't very clear - the key was said to be in the letterbox but the letterboxes were hard to find as they are behind a door marked "cleaners" and there was no house manual with the WiFi password but this was a minor problem as the hosts were very responsive to message back.

Great little studio apartment. Location was excellent, close to everything - food, shops, gardens, art gallery. Would be good for a week stay or longer. Check-in was a bit challenging as app was a bit clunky. Support was good and got it sorted quickly.
