The key handover via a safe deposit box went smoothly thanks to the good description and photos. The apartment is beautiful and very centrally located. Shops of all kinds, restaurants, bars, and bus/ferry connections are all in the immediate vicinity and within easy walking distance. I found it particularly convenient that there was a washing machine available. This apartment is ideal for people who are used to the hustle and bustle of the city.

A clean and spacious room. There are various options for both buses and trains. Shops are plentiful. The only difficulty was having to carry heavy suitcases uphill to retrieve the key from the check-in box, located some distance from the apartment, upon arrival. Otherwise, it was absolutely splendid.

Great clean spacious studio in a super location, easy and walkable to everywhere. The kettle and toilet flush button could use a change. The cutlery and plates we had to wash as they had a distinctive smell. Other than that, nice cleaning eco detergents and toiletries provided. In terms of communication, there were hiccups in not realising our check in had not happened yet despite me repeating twice that when though we booked the previous day, we’d only be arriving after midnight and I got asked how check in went while still in Australia so I hat to reiterate the plan for a third time. Also with check out, I got the prompt to check out one say early, then on their boarding pass system I was scheduled to leave 1 day early and this lead to a slight stressful moment panicking if I booked the correct dates which is not ideal during a holiday. None of this is a deal breaker and the place is absolutely worth it!

Fantastic location, you do hear the road noise but i knew that going in and that key pickup 2 min walk away. Apartment was very tidy and clean. 2 sets of keys provided making it much easier if travelling with others. There is no air conditioning so i did find it quite stuffy in the apartment, there is a fan provided but i found it too noisy to sleep with. Good sized bathroom and good toiletries provided. At check in i did struggle getting key as the code was so long I kept typing it in wrong. You will need data/wifi to go through all check in instructions. After you have key, keep going through each page of info as only on last page are you given apartment number. I wouldve liked this in email earlier with address as its not on key either and initially i kept forgetting apartment and was hard to find this info. The dishwasher wasn't working & this wasn't fixed for the 5 nights I was there, also if you like coffee there isn't any facilities except 1 cup plunger which was disappointin

Location was great. The building was quiet but could hear all the outside noise. Checking in was difficult as I didn’t receive my “boarding pass” and has to ring someone but checking out is easy

The place is very central in the city. At first I was hesitant because of the noise at night, but when you close the windows in the room they have good sound insulation. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Buses and metro are just a few meters from the apartment. I would definitely come back.

Additional cleaning fees paid still not refunded - from booking, to check-in, to check-out - it's been 2 months, and still waiting. Also, I've never had any Airbnb host accused me of causing any defects, this is the first time. These two incidents left such a terrible experience to the overall stay.

We had a great time at Stefan’s place! The location is right in the center of the city and has many bus lines that pickup nearby. There was a lot of construction going on outside and it could go on early in the morning and late at night which could get loud since we needed to open the windows for some air circulation. There were some small things that needed repair (the couch cushions were pretty lumpy, the WiFi network was not the one listed on the Airbnb checkin site) but nothing that would change the overall stay. Please also be aware (and Stefan says this in the checkin instructions) that you need to pick up the key from the office building about a 3 min walk from the apartment.

The location is really great! Can be a bit loud at night but it’s very central so that can be expected. The space was very clean and had all the amenities I needed. I enjoyed my stay :)

Excellent location and very good host. The only detail is that the bathroom smelled of cigarettes all day, but it must be from the other apartments. Big and clean bathroom. Recommended

The accommodation couldn't be more centrally located. The nearest supermarket is across the street and everything you need is around. The accommodation offers the possibility to separate the bedroom with doors from the kitchen and living room, so you have enough privacy. The TV has everything you need these days. Communication was very good and we never waited more than an hour for an answer.

Die Unterkunft konnte gar nicht zentraler gelegen sein. Der nächste Supermarkt ist auf der anderen Straßenseite und alles Notwendige um Einen herum. Die Unterkunft bietet die Möglichkeit das Schlafzimmer mit Türen von der Küche und dem Wohnzimmer zu trennen, somit hat man genug Privatsphäre. Der Fernseher bietet alles was man heutzutage benötigt. Die Kommunikation war sehr gut und man hat auf eine Antwort nie länger als eine Stunde gewartet.

Great hosts, very good communication and one of the most efficient checkin/checkout process I've experienced in airbnb! Highly appreciated the optional airport pick up and drop off, made the experience smoother. The driver Geetha is really helpful and reliable. The location is in the middle of the city, which is great but also expect city noise! Overall, highly recommended.

Great location and accurate representation of the apartment. Very bad road noise. Apartment needs sound proofing to reduce night time noise. Bed was uncomfortable. I left the accommodation early as I was unable to sleep with the city noise.

A great location for Auckland CBD - which of course comes with the noise, but fine if you don’t mind that. It’s worth noting to collect the keys for check in this is at a different location to the apartment. There were a few things broken/not working on arrival and it could generally do with a bit of TLC, but overall a clean and tidy apartment in a convenient location with all appliances needed for a stay

Awesome stay at this central city apartment. Yeah bit noisy but this is only to be expected in any central city location, and it doesn't get more central than this. Clean apartment and building, particularly inside the entrance, even smelt great! Would recommend to anyone (or two), who want to visit and be in the middle of everything, or a base for business travel.

This is in a great location downtown- easy to walk to restaurants and attractions. The space was clean and comfortable. There’s no air conditioning and you can’t open the windows, so it can get a bit hot during warm weather, but it’s manageable. The washing machine was broken while we were there, but the owners were very quick to respond and send someone to fix it, and they reimbursed us for when we went to the laundromat. Overall it’s a great place to stay!

Fantastic, central location and a very stylish apartment - would have preferred a more personal touch with communications though, as I ended up dealing with around five different people with lots of emails for just a two night stay. It's clear the place is run by a management company on behalf of the actual owner.

Clean , comfortable, good location , it’s in a heart of the city cos of that it’s noise for those who like relax and quite. The negative thing i face it was because Auckland my last destination and because of that I booked by Airbnb to have more space and wash machine but I was surprised the wash machine is broken and not working and they don’t let me know about that. Moreover because it was new year season the dry cleaners was closed and that makes me upset.

The mattress was very cheap, old and sagging and the worst by far after over 20 mattresses in two months in Australia. I work up with a terrible back ache. Only one winder opened, no air conditioning, no blackout curtains and the bathroom fan never worked. Therefore poor air circulation.
