The space
Located in the Metropolis building an upmarket facility in the centre of the city.

Here at Zodiak Stays, we provide our guests with free unlimited WIFI, towels and bed linen, as well as a welcome pack of starter amenities, and we use a high quality cleaning company so the apartment will be perfect for your arrival. Fully equipped for the traveler, with hairdryer, iron, Internet.
All Linen provided. A modest but well equipped kitchen with dishwasher , oven, microwave, toaster, jug and Pots and pans, plates, glasses, cups etc.
The bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, bedside cabinets and side lamps.
TV in lounge with App cabability only and Bedroom TV with freeview and chrome cast.

Bathroom with shower and bath.
Washing machine and dryer.

Tea, coffee and other useful amenities provided (washing powder, dish washer tablets, soap etc.).

Interaction
Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm NZ time and we will try to respond to your messages/email as soon as possible. You will be provided with an emergency 24/7 maintenance number as well in case you need that outside of our regular office hours.

Monthly Stays: We have a 10% discount factored into the price if you book for 28 nights or more.

Key Pick-Up: The key will need to be picked up from our Zodiak office in Auckland Central (the full address Level 2, Unit A210/52 Courthouse Lane, Auckland CBD), which is a 1 minute walk away from the apartment. We provide 24/7 access to keys via lockboxes. This is a different location to the property you’ll be staying at. Please double-check if this suits you and ask us if you have any questions or concerns before booking. We also have free WiFi access at our office in case you need the internet to contact us. We will send you the full check-in instructions on the morning of your arrival date.

Parking: We do not have a free carpark for this building but nearby paid parking options are available.

Personal Check-ins: We can arrange for someone to meet you at the apartment for a $85 fee. Please inquire before booking to check availability - we will need at least two days notice to guarantee someone can meet you.

Check-in Time: Check-in time is after 3pm. If you need to check-in earlier, then please double-check with us first so we can confirm availability.

Housekeeping: We can arrange extra weekly housekeeping during your stay if requested for the same price as the cleaning fee listed per clean. Stays longer than 21 days will be required to have a mid-stay clean at your expense. Please just send us a message if you need extra cleaning as we will need to organise this with the cleaning company we use.

Amenities: We provide a starter pack of amenities to last you the first few days of your stay (2x shampoo, 2x bodywash, 4x tea/coffee, 2x toilet paper rolls, 1 pack of laundry powder, 1 pack of dishwashing powder, dishwashing liquid, cleaning spray and wipes) but you will need to purchase your own amenities after these run out. Please do not take the large refillable bottles provided as we’ll need to charge for replacement.

Linens: We provide a full set of linens for each bed and a face cloth and shower towel per guest. Extra linens can be provided for a fee. Please inquire before your stay.

Checkout Time: Checkout time is at 10am.

This is a professionally managed apartment by Zodiak Stays so you can expect the very best in service, but please note it is not a serviced apartment. As above, weekly housekeeping can still be arranged as an extra service.

Sehr gemütlich eingerichtetes Apartment, total bequemes Bett, alle "facilities" vorhanden, schön der Sonnenaufgang ins Zimmer am Morgen und der Blick auf den Albert Park (hatte eigentlich einen Stadtblick erwartet), sehr ruhig. Lage super (in netter Gegend), Cafés, Restaurants und High St, Queen St, harbour ... fußläufig.
Kleiner Wunsch: Schön wäre eine kleine Kaffeemaschine im Apartment gewesen.

Für MICH (andere stört's vielleicht nicht) ein Minus am Anfang: die Flut an Infos, Regeln, Anweisungen, z.T. "Drohungen" ... wenn Du ... dann ...

I stayed in Stefan‘s apt for seven weeks during a work project in Auckland. Everything as described, super professional communication, very nice area. The gym and pool on the eight floor were a great add-on. Highly recommend.

Exceptional

Location is amazing. Close to everything and walking distance to the whole CBD. The apartment is really comfortable. The hotel staff was quite rude at the last day. We were just waiting for the uber after the check out and they said we couldn't wait inside the lobby, as it was for residents only. I stayed in the apartment for 3 weeks and it was perfect. Great location, it was quiet and had a great view overlooking the park. Easy to walk anywhere in the CBD for shops and restaurants - centrally located. It was a good size with proper size fridge, washer, dryer, large bathroom including a tub. This is in addition to the building amenities pool and hot tub. Would definitely recommend for those needing a home away from home.

This place was fantastic! As a female solo traveller, I felt safe. Everything was as per the pictures. Perfect for me for a 3 night stay. This is a great little spot right in the middle of the CBD walking distance to the attractions like the sky tower, Weta, the harbour and museums.
The pool and gym are very large for a place like this which we really liked.
We had a couple of minor issues and Stefan was very responsive and helpful in order to rectify them.
I would highly recommend this flat for anyone wanting to explore Auckland.

L’appartement est idéalement situé pour pouvoir se balader à pied et accéder à de nombreux lieux d’intérêt. Il procède toutes les fonctionnalité dont j’ai eu besoin. L’arrivée autonome et flexible est top d’autant plus avec les instructions très claires mises à disposition.
Le seul petit bémol si je devais entendons cité un : nous entendons des bruits de rails la nuit (transport en commun proche?), si vous avez le sommeil léger il est préférable de penser au bouchons d’oreille.
Tout était parfait pour mon séjour de 4 nuits !

Nos encantó el lugar, muy céntrico, limpio y con todas las comodidades necesarias para descansar y reponerse luego de un largo viaje. Destacamos la amabilidad de los anfitriones, la respuesta fue rápida y el check in flexible. Respecto al retiro de llaves, nos había generado dudas los comentarios de otros usuarios donde decían que se retiran en otra dirección, pero literal es en la misma calle frente a la entrada del edificio, muy fácil. Gracias por la hospitalidad y buena comunicación.

A great stay in a spotless apartment. The building is conveniently located right in the middle of the CBD making it extremely easy to access all the main areas of Auckland. The shower head displayed in the photos is different to the one in apartment but this is a minor detail. The bed is extremely comfortable and the apartment is surprisingly spacious for the city centre. The communication from the Zodiak team was fantastic. Would stay again!

Handy location to collect keys, very close to accommodation The last night i stayed there was a huge commotion on my floor which woke me up (nothing to do with the room, room was perfect) and other than that it has been extremely quiet the rest of the time. The spacious apartment has a great advantage of convenient location inside the CBD with restaurants around the building and public transportation within 5 to 10 mins walk. Supermarkets are within walking distance. The internet in the apartment is fast and stable. Impressed with the provision of amenities like shampoo, conditioner, body wash and toilet rolls. Bath towels are also provided. The downside would be the apartment looks aged comparing to photos and smells old, but clean. The lightings are somehow too dark in the living room and bedroom for me when working and reading at night. The card key is located at a place not so near to the apartment for collection, which is slightly inconvenient when carrying heavy luggages arriving to the city in the midnight. The host is exceptionally responsive on replying messages even in late night and very helpful.

Stefan's place is very well located with a great supermarket right around the corner. We walked every evening around lovely Saint Alberts Park and found everything in the apartment very much to our liking. Fundamentally, it is very well set up with nearly all the benefits of hotel living. This was a fabulous inner city place to stay for my 'staycation' . Very stylish & clean. A really good sized space for an inner city apartment - plenty of room. Beautiful outlook onto Albert Park & Chancery. Lovely bath & good pressure shower. The Metropolis is a lovely building to stay in & a great location. They had tea. coffee and milk all there which makes a difference when you are travelling & just want a cuppa. I had an initial issue with the AC unit, which I think was due to covid 19 & the place having not been booked for some time . However the customer service from Zodiak was excellent & they rectified it the following day & kept up the communication. with me. Thanks for a great few days.

This is a great apartment to stay in if you’re looking to stay in the CBD but not be directly on Queen St. The apartment was cute, clean, and convenient. Check in and check out were easy peezy. All of the amenities listed were there. The only thing tricky to find was the entrance: don’t walk into the hotel, go around the other side to the resident’s entrance.

Our stay here was fantastic! It was an amazing location, so close to everything yet still somehow packed away in a tranquil area, we could experience the city to it's full capacity and then relax in our amazing accommodation. The pool and spa facilities were so relaxing and had a great view of the city. I loved the large sliding doors we could open and take in the great view this room offered. Close to boutique french cafe's and alleyways and also very short walk to the waterfront. I recommend staying here and hope to be back again soon! Would choose over a hotel experience any day.

The apartment has a great location a short distance from the harbor in a nice neighborhood with good restaurants. The building is nice and very clean. The view from the apartment overlooks the park. The apartment is clean and Stefan is very responsive. If we come back to Auckland, we would be happy to stay here again.

Its a great place. We were late for our check-in and stefan stood up till late and dint complain a pinch. Welcomed us with a big smile. The host is really helpful and supportive. Love the place. Super worthy.

This was a wonderful city apartment. Close to everything and great views on Albert park. All mod cons are present and the facilities in the building, like gym and pool were fantastic. As a swimmer, a special mention about the pool. This is a decent approx. 20m pool, good enough to swim proper laps, unlike many other hotel pools.
Stefan is a great host. He checked us in very smoothly upon arrival. Nice to experience a personal touch.
Would definitely book again on my next trip to Auckland

Wonderful Airbnb experience! Sara was the perfect host. She went above and beyond to make sure we arrived safely and settled in comfortably. Our flight changed, but she was very flexible allowing us to checkout at 1pm. After a rocky trip from the airport she walked us to our room, gave us a tour of the apartment, and recommended a few of her favourite local bars and eateries. The apartment was tidy, modern and stylish. It's location was perfect, within walking distance to bus stops and close to Auckland Art Gallery, Britomart and Sky Tower etc.
100% recommend this to anyone who enjoys comfort, style and a self-contained space.

Sara went out of her way to make sure that we were checked in easily and quickly at the super early hour of 6 am-ish. Everything was as advertised. We highly recommend staying here while in Auckland's CBD.

Great location within walking distance of the harbor, shops, bars, restaurants and the Art Gallery. Has everything you need for a self-contained holiday or business trip, including washing facilities, dryer and line in bathroom. Hosts are friendly and super-responsive. Remember to make independent arrangements for your luggage on check-out day as there is no storage available (our fault for overlooking this). Would stay there again.

This apartment is in a great spot - close to everything we wanted to do and see. The facilities at the apartment were great - the pool and spa have a fantastic view of the sky tower especially at night. The hosts are very accommodating and the apartment is clean and modern.

Perhaps the best Airbnb experience I have had. Great place and Trudy was very friendly and understanding when we had to check in later than planned.
The place is great, right in CBD and has great pool/sauna/jacuzzi access.
Love that there was milk and some breakfast bits for us when we arrived

Sehr gemütlich eingerichtetes Apartment, total bequemes Bett, alle "facilities" vorhanden, schön der Sonnenaufgang ins Zimmer am Morgen und der Blick auf den Albert Park (hatte eigentlich einen Stadtblick erwartet), sehr ruhig. Lage super (in netter Gegend), Cafés, Restaurants und High St, Queen St, harbour ... fußläufig.
Kleiner Wunsch: Schön wäre eine kleine Kaffeemaschine im Apartment gewesen.

Für MICH (andere stört's vielleicht nicht) ein Minus am Anfang: die Flut an Infos, Regeln, Anweisungen, z.T. "Drohungen" ... wenn Du ... dann ...

I stayed in Stefan‘s apt for seven weeks during a work project in Auckland. Everything as described, super professional communication, very nice area. The gym and pool on the eight floor were a great add-on. Highly recommend.

Location is amazing. Close to everything and walking distance to the whole CBD. The apartment is really comfortable. The hotel staff was quite rude at the last day. We were just waiting for the uber after the check out and they said we couldn't wait inside the lobby, as it was for residents only. If we have booked an apartment we should be considered residents, even if just checked out and are waiting for the uber to leave.

I stayed in the apartment for 3 weeks and it was perfect. Great location, it was quiet and had a great view overlooking the park. Easy to walk anywhere in the CBD for shops and restaurants - centrally located. It was a good size with proper size fridge, washer, dryer, large bathroom including a tub. This is in addition to the building amenities pool and hot tub. Would definitely recommend for those needing a home away from home.

This place was fantastic! As a female solo traveller, I felt safe. Everything was as per the pictures. Perfect for me for a 3 night stay. Stefan was incredibly helpful and responded quickly to any questions I had. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to stay in Auckland. Air con worked great, and it was about a 10 minute walk to the Viaduct. Thank you!

This is a great little spot right in the middle of the CBD walking distance to the attractions like the sky tower, Weta, the harbour and museums.
The pool and gym are very large for a place like this which we really liked.
We had a couple of minor issues and Stefan was very responsive and helpful in order to rectify them.
I would highly recommend this flat for anyone wanting to explore Auckland.

The location was fantastic! It was with wonderful to be in the center of Auckland, but have a peaceful retreat overlooking the beauty of Albert Park. We didn’t have many questions, but Stefan and his team responded immediately when we did. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend you do the same.

Great location! Easily walkable to many restaurants and shops. Check-in instructions were clear and easy, and the room was just like the photos. I wasn’t sure where to park but there is a carpark one block over that is very reasonable.

Me and my other half had a great time in the Apartment. Close to everything and the apartment itself self felt like home. We didn’t want to come back to Hawaii. Definitely will book again when we plan out trip next year !

L’appartement est idéalement situé pour pouvoir se balader à pied et accéder à de nombreux lieux d’intérêt. Il procède toutes les fonctionnalité dont j’ai eu besoin. L’arrivée autonome et flexible est top d’autant plus avec les instructions très claires mises à disposition.
Le seul petit bémol si je devais entendons cité un : nous entendons des bruits de rails la nuit (transport en commun proche?), si vous avez le sommeil léger il est préférable de penser au bouchons d’oreille.
Tout était parfait pour mon séjour de 4 nuits !

Nos encantó el lugar, muy céntrico, limpio y con todas las comodidades necesarias para descansar y reponerse luego de un largo viaje. Destacamos la amabilidad de los anfitriones, la respuesta fue rápida y el check in flexible. Respecto al retiro de llaves, nos había generado dudas los comentarios de otros usuarios donde decían que se retiran en otra dirección, pero literal es en la misma calle frente a la entrada del edificio, muy fácil. Gracias por la hospitalidad y buena comunicación.
Recomendaremos y sin duda volveremos cuando pasemos por Auckland! 🧡

Wir hatten eine sehr gute Zeit in der Unterkunft!
Die Beschreibung war zutreffend, die Kommunikation mit Stefan und seinen Kolleg:innen perfekt.
Check-in Anweisungen waren sehr klar und einfach zu verstehen.
Die Lage ist unschlagbar und die Unterkunft war zudem sehr sauber.

l'accessibilité et l'emplacement était parfait pour visiter la ville.

Facilities The parking was misleading and quite a lot of admin to access every day. Didn’t appreciate that. Besides it costing my trip so much extra and having to abide by times makes it inconvenient.

Great responsive host. Fantastic central city location, still close to main attractions but neighbouring a park helped with a more peaceful stay. Perfect building amenities as well. wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

A great stay in a spotless apartment. The building is conveniently located right in the middle of the CBD making it extremely easy to access all the main areas of Auckland. The shower head displayed in the photos is different to the one in apartment but this is a minor detail. The bed is extremely comfortable and the apartment is surprisingly spacious for the city centre. The communication from the Zodiak team was fantastic. Would stay again!

Lovely place, with all the necessities within walking distance! I felt right at home, I loved being indoors with all the amenities that we needed from a dishwasher to a washing machine, accompanied by the dryer, TV and superfast Wi-Fi this place really had everything we needed! 10 out of 10 would recommend :)

Handy location to collect keys, very close to accommodation The last night i stayed there was a huge commotion on my floor which woke me up (nothing to do with the room, room was perfect) and other than that it has been extremely quiet the rest of the time. I think it just gave me a fright more than anything.

The spacious apartment has a great advantage of convenient location inside the CBD with restaurants around the building and public transportation within 5 to 10 mins walk. Supermarkets are within walking distance. The internet in the apartment is fast and stable. Impressed with the provision of amenities like shampoo, conditioner, body wash and toilet rolls. Bath towels are also provided. The downside would be the apartment looks aged comparing to photos and smells old, but clean. The lightings are somehow too dark in the living room and bedroom for me when working and reading at night. The card key is located at a place not so near to the apartment for collection, which is slightly inconvenient when carrying heavy luggages arriving to the city in the midnight. The host is exceptionally responsive on replying messages even in late night and very helpful.

Lovely, clean, apartment in a fantastic location. Very comfortable stay. communication was great and the only thing to be aware of is key pickup (checkin) is in a different location to the building, about a 10 min walk or short uber ride away.

A great, hotel-like experience. Very comfortable. A short walk to Britomart and the waterfront in one direction, the Domain in the other. Nice view of the park. Some noise on the weekends from drunken revellers, but to be expected in an inner city location.

Stefan's place is very well located with a great supermarket right around the corner. We walked every evening around lovely Saint Alberts Park and found everything in the apartment very much to our liking. Fundamentally, it is very well set up with nearly all the benefits of hotel living. Additionally, we found the owners to be excellent communicators and very understanding of our unique arrival needs during Auckland covid level 3. Thank you. We would most certainly stay again if the opportunity presented itself.

This was a fabulous inner city place to stay for my 'staycation' . Very stylish & clean. A really good sized space for an inner city apartment - plenty of room. Beautiful outlook onto Albert Park & Chancery. Lovely bath & good pressure shower. The Metropolis is a lovely building to stay in & a great location. They had tea. coffee and milk all there which makes a difference when you are travelling & just want a cuppa. I had an initial issue with the AC unit, which I think was due to covid 19 & the place having not been booked for some time . However the customer service from Zodiak was excellent & they rectified it the following day & kept up the communication. with me. Thanks for a great few days.

Great apartment in a fanastic location. Communication with hosts was faultless. We struggled with nightclub noise adjacent to the building on Friday and Saturday night which would affect a decision to stay here again. The pool was great, the gym could do with an upgrade.

This is a great apartment to stay in if you’re looking to stay in the CBD but not be directly on Queen St. The apartment was cute, clean, and convenient. Check in and check out were easy peezy. All of the amenities listed were there. The only thing tricky to find was the entrance: don’t walk into the hotel, go around the other side to the resident’s entrance.

Our stay here was fantastic! It was an amazing location, so close to everything yet still somehow packed away in a tranquil area, we could experience the city to it's full capacity and then relax in our amazing accommodation. The pool and spa facilities were so relaxing and had a great view of the city. I loved the large sliding doors we could open and take in the great view this room offered. Close to boutique french cafe's and alleyways and also very short walk to the waterfront. I recommend staying here and hope to be back again soon! Would choose over a hotel experience any day.

Stefan’s place is the perfect spot to stay in Auckland, I recommend it highly. It’s a stylish place in the heart of the stylish centre of Auckland. It has everything you need right down to beautiful bedding. It’s spacious with great bathroom and kitchen amenities and excellent internet. Look no further! I’ll definitely be back.

Stefan’s place was an amazing place for us to stay while traveling through Auckland. The apartment is centrally locates in the CBD and we were able to walk to all of the sights and experience many nearby restaurants. The apartment was very clean and had all of the amenities we had hoped for. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to other travelers who are visiting Auckland and need a convenient, clean and very comfortable place to stay.

This is my 2nd stay here for a business trip. As usual the check in was flawless and timely. The place is clean and exactly as advertised. I also really like the neighborhood and starting to discover a few favorite spots. Scarecrow for breakfast, a block away and facing the park, is great! Look forward to staying here again next time I’m in town for work.
