Pros: I stayed for 4 days.The check-in process was fast and easy. The lockbox room is right across the street. There are two entrances, which was convenient. The location is great and very walkable to many restaurants, the viaduct, and parks. The little kitchen had everything I needed to cook for the week. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. Cons: The bathroom needs a deep cleaning. Lots of dust build up, and the shower glass had soap scum all over. There were bad smells coming from under the bathroom and kitchen cabinets.

I stayed in the apartment for 3 weeks and it was perfect. Great location, it was quiet and had a great view overlooking the park. Easy to walk anywhere in the CBD for shops and restaurants - centrally located. It was a good size with proper size fridge, washer, dryer, large bathroom including a tub. This is in addition to the building amenities pool and hot tub. Would definitely recommend for those needing a home away from home.

This place was fantastic! As a female solo traveller, I felt safe. Everything was as per the pictures. Perfect for me for a 3 night stay. Stefan was incredibly helpful and responded quickly to any questions I had. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to stay in Auckland. Air con worked great, and it was about a 10 minute walk to the Viaduct. Thank you!

This is a great little spot right in the middle of the CBD walking distance to the attractions like the sky tower, Weta, the harbour and museums. The pool and gym are very large for a place like this which we really liked. We had a couple of minor issues and Stefan was very responsive and helpful in order to rectify them. I would highly recommend this flat for anyone wanting to explore Auckland.

The location was fantastic! It was with wonderful to be in the center of Auckland, but have a peaceful retreat overlooking the beauty of Albert Park. Great location! Easily walkable to many restaurants and shops. Check-in instructions were clear and easy, and the room was just like the photos. I wasn’t sure where to park but there is a carpark one block over that is very reasonable.

L’appartement est idéalement situé pour pouvoir se balader à pied et accéder à de nombreux lieux d’intérêt. Il procède toutes les fonctionnalité dont j’ai eu besoin. L’arrivée autonome et flexible est top d’autant plus avec les instructions très claires mises à disposition. Le seul petit bémol si je devais entendons cité un : nous entendons des bruits de rails la nuit (transport en commun proche?), si vous avez le sommeil léger il est préférable de penser au bouchons d’oreille. Tout était parfait pour mon séjour de 4 nuits !

Nos encantó el lugar, muy céntrico, limpio y con todas las comodidades necesarias para descansar y reponerse luego de un largo viaje. Destacamos la amabilidad de los anfitriones, la respuesta fue rápida y el check in flexible. Respecto al retiro de llaves, nos había generado dudas los comentarios de otros usuarios donde decían que se retiran en otra dirección, pero literal es en la misma calle frente a la entrada del edificio, muy fácil. Gracias por la hospitalidad y buena comunicación. Recomendaremos y sin duda volveremos cuando pasemos por Auckland! 🧡

Great responsive host. Fantastic central city location, still close to main attractions but neighbouring a park helped with a more peaceful stay. Perfect building amenities as well. wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

A great stay in a spotless apartment. The building is conveniently located right in the middle of the CBD making it extremely easy to access all the main areas of Auckland. The shower head displayed in the photos is different to the one in apartment but this is a minor detail. The bed is extremely comfortable and the apartment is surprisingly spacious for the city centre. The communication from the Zodiak team was fantastic. Would stay again!

Lovely place, with all the necessities within walking distance! I felt right at home, I loved being indoors with all the amenities that we needed from a dishwasher to a washing machine, accompanied by the dryer, TV and superfast Wi-Fi this place really had everything we needed! 10 out of 10 would recommend :)

The lightings are somehow too dark in the living room and bedroom for me when working and reading at night. The card key is located at a place not so near to the apartment for collection, which is slightly inconvenient when carrying heavy luggages arriving to the city in the midnight. The host is exceptionally responsive on replying messages even in late night and very helpful.

The apartment is perfectly located in the CBD, it's clean and neat even though a bit oldish for the furniture and the carpet, and the spa pool area is just amazing with a view on the Sky Tower! We had a great time there and enjoyed our stay. The only real drawback is the noise that comes from the city and the bars downstairs at night during the weekend : we could hear very loud music and people shouting and it even woke us up sometimes. The apartment is near the elevators so you can also hear the evelators' sound throughout the night but it doesn't prevent you from sleeping, it's just a low background noise. Overall, we enjoyed our time there and we would recommend it to people who want a nice play to stay in Auckland CBD with a great relaxing spa pool area!

Stefan’s place is great - spacious, secure and brilliant location. The apartment is as shown in the photographs. Communication was fantastic from start to finish. Would stay there again.

We stayed six weeks in this apartment. During this time we formed a very good idea of its strengths and weaknesses. Some of the key aspects to consider follow. NOISE The apartment is exposed to the elevator noise (elevator shaft just next to the apartment), pressure water pipes, and (on weekends) nightlife noise from Chancery square. The background noise level is about 35 db with spikes of 40 dB when the elevator passes in the living room/kitchen area. In the bedroom area noise can be up to 45 dB up until 1 am in the morning on Fridays and Saturdays. I actually measured this noise level values! For reference the World Health Organization says that the background noise upper limit for healthy sleeping is 30 dB. SUNLIGHT The apartment has practically no direct sunlight on the Winter months (this is due to bldg orientation and the elevated skyline surrounding it). I clocked 15 min direct sunlight in the early morning. This, makes the living room/kitchen area very dark throughout the day. GENERAL MAINTENANCE The carpet is worn out and needs replacement (otherwise pls drop the word "stylish" from the listing). The sofa is also worn out and stained. The window was very dirty when we arrived. We also found the oven extremely dirty. The fridge is very small even for an apartment this size and one of the two shelves is broken, half the space of the freezer was occupied by frost. The equipment in the kitchen limited. The pans are extremely dirty and worn out (we had to buy a new one). The bathroom door needs to be closed firmly (almost slammed) to close. We communicated with the person in charge about the noise situation (I believe we never interacted with Stefan, at least no one in the chat identified him/herself by that name). We often missed sleep or require to wear earplugs/sound blockers at night. I understand that this would only be a problem for light sleepers (as ourselves!). Eventually we needed to leave early over this issue. The manager, who generally disregarded our comments (apparently we were the firsts to notice the noise) said that we needed to stay an additional month to issue a reimbursement for the rest of our planned stay, which I believe is better than they were required to do (the cancellation policy is strict apparently). We thank them for that! We contacted Airbnb describing the situation and they were able to scratch a few days from the notice period that they were demanding. All an all this has been clearly my worst Airbnb experience after 7 years as guest and host. We still liked the area and the bldg (gym & spa are the highlight).
