Nestled between High and Queen Street, it’s surrounded by cafes, restaurants, and top attractions like Albert Park, Sky Tower, and the waterfront.

The space
Welcome to this cosy studio loft by Zodiak Stays in a charming heritage building. Featuring a high 3.6-meter ceiling and a mezzanine level with a second bed, this space offers a comfortable stay. The compact kitchen, comfy bed, and well-equipped interior ensure a pleasant experience. Located in Auckland's CBD, it’s just a short walk to landmarks like the Sky Tower and Aotea Square.

Enjoy free unlimited WiFi, fresh towels, and bed linen, along with a welcome pack of essential amenities. Our professional cleaning service ensures the apartment is spotless for your arrival.

Here at Zodiak Stays, we provide everything you need for a comfortable stay in Auckland, including:

The kitchen features a stove, microwave, and refrigerator, providing everything you need for home-cooked meals. Whether you're preparing a quick breakfast or a cosy dinner, you'll have all the essentials at your fingertips.

The sleeping arrangements include a queen-size bed in the main area. A ladder leads to the loft area, where you'll find a double bed. Please note that these are not separate rooms.

Large New York-style windows flood the space with natural light, creating a bright and airy atmosphere. For dining, a table with two chairs offers a cosy spot to enjoy meals. For entertainment, the apartment has a smart TV mounted to the wall and comes stocked with a variety of reading materials located in the loft.

For added convenience, a washer is provided, making long stays more comfortable and hassle-free. Please note that the unit’s washer is a wash-only model and does not include a heat-drying function.

Step outside, and you'll find yourself in a prime location. The building is just moments away from cultural landmarks like Albert Park, where you can take a leisurely stroll or enjoy the greenery. The area is also well-connected by public transport, making it easy to explore the rest of Auckland.

Please note that a refundable security deposit (authorised and held by your card provider, not charged to us) is required as part of the booking process.

Guests have full access to the entire apartment

Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm NZ time and we will try to respond to your messages/email as soon as possible. You will be provided with an emergency 24/7 maintenance number as well in case you need that outside of our regular office hours.

Other Things To Note
Loft Bed: Please note that the apartment includes a loft bed to accommodate the additional two guests. Kindly be advised that guests will need to make up the bed themselves. For your convenience, our team has placed clean linen and bedding inside the wardrobe. Additionally, accessing the loft bed requires climbing a ladder. Please refer to photos to see the position of the ladder. The distance from the floor to the ceiling is 3.6M

Washer- Please note that the unit’s washer is a wash-only model and does not include a heat-drying function.

Monthly Stays: We have a 10% discount factored into the price if you book for 28 nights or more.

Due to the location, cars will not be able to drop at the door step. You will need to walk a short distance from where ever your vehicle has dropped you.

Key Pick-Up: The key will need to be picked up from our Zodiak office in Auckland Central (the full address Level 2, Unit A210/52 Courthouse Lane, Auckland CBD), which is a 3 minute walk or 3 min drive away from the apartment. We provide 24/7 access to keys via lockboxes. This is a different location to the property you’ll be staying at. Please double-check if this suits you and ask us if you have any questions or concerns before booking. We also have free WiFi access at our office in case you need the internet to contact us. We will send you the full check-in instructions on the morning of your arrival date.

Personal Check-ins: We can arrange for someone to meet you at the property for a $85 fee. Please inquire before booking to check availability - we will need at least two days notice to guarantee someone can meet you.

Parking: We do not have a free carpark for this building but nearby paid parking options are available.

Check-in Time: Check-in time is after 3pm. If you need to check-in earlier, then please double-check with us first so we can confirm availability.

Amenities: We provide a starter pack of amenities to last you the first few days of your stay: 450ml shampoo and conditioner, 450ml bodywash, 4 x tea/coffee, 3x toilet paper rolls, 1 pack of laundry powder, 1 pack of dishwashing powder, dishwashing liquid, cleaning spray and wipes, but you will need to purchase your own amenities after these run out. Please do not take the large refillable bottles provided as we’ll need to charge for replacement.

Linens: We provide a full set of linens for each bed, a hand towel, face cloth and shower towel per guest. Extra linens can be provided for a fee. Please inquire before your stay.

Checkout Time: Checkout time is at 10am.

A fantastic BnB! Everything is within walking distance whether it’s groceries or restaurant/bars. Shopping on Queen St is close by and not too far from the ferry terminal for hopping across the bay. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to experience Auckland as well as islands out in the bay.

I loved the flat, in the heart of the city, could walk everywhere. It had everything we needed, was very comfortable. Could hear a little noise from the street at night but it didn't bother us at all and we had to use the card on the lift to collect food delivery at the door but it was ok.

The loft was ideal for our 11 day stay in Auckland. Just off Queens Street shopping, 10 minute walk to the Sky Tower or Harbour. So many restaurants options just steps away. The shower pressure was amazing, the small kitchen allowed us to cook a few meals and enjoy breakfast in the loft. You are truly in the heart of the action! We’d definitely stay again!

We loved our stay, overall a beautiful apartment which was perfect for what we needed. Location was brilliant, Woolworths and multiple restaurants are accessible by foot within minutes. The only suggestion we have to make our stay even better is for the kitchen bin to be bigger and have a lid, which isn’t a big deal if you eat out most of the time. Nice, small studio right in the middle of the CBD. Comfy bed, nice to have tea and coffee things. The room was a little warm in April - the fan helped, but it could be hot in the summer. We'd happily go back.
The loft looked fun, but I'm glad I didn't have to climb in and out: the ladder was hard on the feet. The room is small for more than 2 people.
We didn't have any problem with street noises mid week. Description and photos are spot on.
The check-in process changed recently to a professional company. They were responsive, but slightly inflexible - and kept sending automated "we're glad you have arrived" messages even after we told them we were delayed a day. Their check-in process was super detailed but the info wasn't available much in advance, which I found a bit stressful.

Mein jüngerer Bruder und ich waren für fünf Tage im Appartement und alles lief reibungslos.
Die Kommunikation mit Egle war toll. Innerhalb weniger Minuten hatte man immer eine hilfreiche und nette Antwort.
Die Lage ist auch super. Mitten im Central Business District gelegen ist man inerhalb von Minuten am Hafen oder Sky Tower. Dadurch ist es nachts aber auch etwas lauter.
Das einzige ansatzweise negative war, dass die Unterkunft kleiner als erwartet war. Laut Beschreibung soll man hier zu viert unterkommen können. Dafür wäre sie aber zu klein.
Ich denke zu zweit ist das Appartement perfekt.
Außerdem ist der Duschkopf nicht in der Höhe verstellbar und ziemlich niedrig. Mit meinen 180cm musste ich mich ziemlich ducken.
Alles in allem aber ein schöner Aufenthalt in einem sauberen und gut gepflegten Appartement mitten in der Innenstadt. Gerne wieder :)

I’m so grateful I found this gem in the city. It’s the perfect location for walking around Auckland or to serve as a base for day trips from the city (the bus depot is a 10 min walk away).
You can really tell the attention to detail that the hosts put into this space — not just the sleek loft itself but the super thorough checkin instructions and city recs, and most of all the generous amenities (washer, iron, small kitchenette with coffee and tea, a hair dryer, shampoo/soap/conditioner, hangers and ample closet space, etc). I truly felt so taken care of here. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Excellent stay at Egle’s apartment in the Auckland CBD. The host was very kind and a great communicator. The apartment itself is really comfortable and well equipped, suitable for a solo traveler or couples. Great water pressure in the shower, a washer as well which was really convenient to have. Location could not be more central, right in the heart of the city off of Queen St, surrounded by stores, restaurants, and bars, and a quick walk to the sky center. I cannot recommend this place enough when visiting Auckland!

This is a great place for people to stay at when visiting CBD Auckland and are interested in shopping and eating at fancy restaurants.
I would not recommend it for people that are light sleepers as it is located on an alley and you can hear everything at night. Also, the 2nd bed is accessed by climbing a ladder which was fine with me but may be scary for others. It is your typical loft, perfect for people that don't need much space.

Host communication was on point at all times, just a message away. With fantastic local recommendations!!! Parking wasn't an issue we utilized the Victoria street carpark, easy, reasonably priced, and only a few seconds walk away from the apartment. 24/7 convenience store next to the carpark also was handy. Definitely feel we found a gem in the city, and will be our go to from now on for future stays. Exceptional apartment, and host's in every way. The place was in a side street of Queen street. So super convenient location. However it can be very noisy, since downstairs are bars. So use some earplugs. The studio apartment is exactly the same as the pictures. All amenities are there. Love it has a good washing machine and high ceiling. The ceiling fan has double function, it can be used for drying clothes when you hang them below it, very convenient :)
Egle was flexible and provided with crystal clear instructions. And was always quick with my questions. I also used some of the provided travel tips, very proactive host!
Too bad I couldn’t stay longer since AKL was the last leg of my NZ trip, but i definitely will stay here again if i got the chance. Highly highly recommended host!

Really reasonable price for the CBD area and it is in the middle of all the shops, restaurants, an amazing pier with a beautiful, modern mall and more. The side street it's located has bars and restaurants, and within a couple of blocks, at least three world class coffee shops, like Chuff, The Shelf, and Scarecrow and there may be more!
The apartment is cozy and well done with a comfy modern chair and a table for two in addition to the two beds. I would say the only thing to keep in mind is that it is in a busy area so there is city noise, but our host provided earplugs. Loved the option to walk anywhere we needed to go and find great food in minutes.

Fantastic apartment in central Auckland. Perfectly located for restaurants, shopping, Spark Arena events. Spacious, great if looking for 2 separate beds and are fine with mezzanine/loft. Apartment has everything you need for a convenient stay, and even a bar/restaurant right across the street. It was a little warm but there is a ceiling fan. It looks onto a boutique and restaurant lined alleyway downtown, noise didn’t bother us, though we stayed midweek.

For a first trip going to Auckland I could not have asked for a bnb in a better location; All the amenities within less than a short walking distance, letting 2 people completely new to the city explore everything to their liking! Great location in Auckland. We were in town for the Auckland marathon and a concert at spark area. Able to walk to both venues. Lots of great restaurants around as well. Cozy space to stay for the weekend. Very comfortable, we enjoyed!

Egle is a very wonderful host who was very helpful and responsive! Due to the fact that we were tourists from Dubai without much idea of Auckland, she has helped us from airport transportation up to places of interests around the area. We found Egle's place to be the perfect place to stay in, being situated in between Queen and High Street, the location is perfect for a walk around Auckland's CBD. Easily accessible to Countdown, Starbucks and plenty of other places. The apartment is also safe and secure, with small restaurants and a bar right outside of the building. Although the noise from the bar is quite loud at times, it is bearable without much issues. The room itself is enough to house 3 people, everything is as stated on the listing, for our circumstance, it was the perfect place to stay in.
My family would easily recommend Egle's place and would definitely visit and stay again if given the opportunity!

We had a great stay. The loft was perfect for my 14yo while I stayed below. It was a good size for the two of us and it was close to everything. Auris is very nice and helpful with restaurant recommendations and help finding places. We loved it!

A fantastic BnB! Everything is within walking distance whether it’s groceries or restaurant/bars. Shopping on Queen St is close by and not too far from the ferry terminal for hopping across the bay. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to experience Auckland as well as islands out in the bay.

I loved the flat, in the heart of the city, could walk everywhere. It had everything we needed, was very comfortable. Could hear a little noise from the street at night but it didn't bother us at all and we had to use the card on the lift to collect food delivery at the door but it was ok.

The loft was ideal for our 11 day stay in Auckland. Just off Queens Street shopping, 10 minute walk to the Sky Tower or Harbour. So many restaurants options just steps away. The shower pressure was amazing, the small kitchen allowed us to cook a few meals and enjoy breakfast in the loft. You are truly in the heart of the action! We’d definitely stay again!

Stefans place is a great apartment for a city break, with perfect location near great tourists spots and local restaurants you can’t fault it! Wonderful little place with high ceilings right bang in the heart of the CBD. Fantastic stay, highly recommend to all wanting a central location. Due to its location, nights can be a bit noisy but this was expected, especially on weekends.

We loved our stay, overall a beautiful apartment which was perfect for what we needed. Location was brilliant, Woolworths and multiple restaurants are accessible by foot within minutes. The only suggestion we have to make our stay even better is for the kitchen bin to be bigger and have a lid, which isn’t a big deal if you eat out most of the time. Thank you so much for the rapid response rate too, Stefan, made us feel very supported! Will stay here again!

Nice, small studio right in the middle of the CBD. Comfy bed, nice to have tea and coffee things. The room was a little warm in April - the fan helped, but it could be hot in the summer. We'd happily go back.
The loft looked fun, but I'm glad I didn't have to climb in and out: the ladder was hard on the feet. The room is small for more than 2 people.
We didn't have any problem with street noises mid week. Description and photos are spot on.
The check-in process changed recently to a professional company. They were responsive, but slightly inflexible - and kept sending automated "we're glad you have arrived" messages even after we told them we were delayed a day. Their check-in process was super detailed but the info wasn't available much in advance, which I found a bit stressful.

We loved staying here for a couple nights. Right in the heart of the city, everything you need is in walking distance, from restaurants to grocery stores to parks. The apartment was very cute and homey, and very clean. Super easy to get in and out, and we felt very safe and secure. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to stay in the city!

Mein jüngerer Bruder und ich waren für fünf Tage im Appartement und alles lief reibungslos.
Die Kommunikation mit Egle war toll. Innerhalb weniger Minuten hatte man immer eine hilfreiche und nette Antwort.
Die Lage ist auch super. Mitten im Central Business District gelegen ist man inerhalb von Minuten am Hafen oder Sky Tower. Dadurch ist es nachts aber auch etwas lauter.
Das einzige ansatzweise negative war, dass die Unterkunft kleiner als erwartet war. Laut Beschreibung soll man hier zu viert unterkommen können. Dafür wäre sie aber zu klein.
Ich denke zu zweit ist das Appartement perfekt.
Außerdem ist der Duschkopf nicht in der Höhe verstellbar und ziemlich niedrig. Mit meinen 180cm musste ich mich ziemlich ducken.
Alles in allem aber ein schöner Aufenthalt in einem sauberen und gut gepflegten Appartement mitten in der Innenstadt. Gerne wieder :)

Walking distance to sky tower, Hobson street bus terminal, water. Small loft space. Clean. Appreciated the washer , dryer machine in the unit. Tip: wear shoes going up and down ladder to the loft. Has little kitchenette, appreciated for arrival when it was too late to go out. Good communication with host.

I’m so grateful I found this gem in the city. It’s the perfect location for walking around Auckland or to serve as a base for day trips from the city (the bus depot is a 10 min walk away).
You can really tell the attention to detail that the hosts put into this space — not just the sleek loft itself but the super thorough checkin instructions and city recs, and most of all the generous amenities (washer, iron, small kitchenette with coffee and tea, a hair dryer, shampoo/soap/conditioner, hangers and ample closet space, etc). I truly felt so taken care of here. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Schöne Unterkunft mitten in Auckland, mit genug Platz und einer schönen Inneneinrichtung.
Die Lage ist sehr zentral weshalb es auch relativ laut in der Nacht ist, womit man klarkommen muss.
Ansonsten ein toller Platz um in Auckland seine Zeit zu verbringen.

Excellent stay at Egle’s apartment in the Auckland CBD. The host was very kind and a great communicator. The apartment itself is really comfortable and well equipped, suitable for a solo traveler or couples. Great water pressure in the shower, a washer as well which was really convenient to have. Location could not be more central, right in the heart of the city off of Queen St, surrounded by stores, restaurants, and bars, and a quick walk to the sky center. I cannot recommend this place enough when visiting Auckland!

Egle's apartment is very convenient, right in the middle of the CBD with everything within walking distance. A great bar right opposite and plenty of cafes and restaurants with international cuisine very close by. And several parking buildings also very close. It was also clean and well appointed with everything you need. I had a great stay. It's central location does however mean that it can be a little noisy late at night so I recommend some ear plugs to get a good night's sleep :-)

This is a great place for people to stay at when visiting CBD Auckland and are interested in shopping and eating at fancy restaurants.
I would not recommend it for people that are light sleepers as it is located on an alley and you can hear everything at night. Also, the 2nd bed is accessed by climbing a ladder which was fine with me but may be scary for others. It is your typical loft, perfect for people that don't need much space.
Egle was super helpful and very responsive. She communicated well with us and we had no issues with checking in. She was super flexible and patient!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Awesome secure apartment complex right in the heart of the city, close to alot of bars & restaurants yet felt a home away from home once in the apartment away from the hassle and bussel. Super clear and easy self check in instructions. Thoughtfully set up in every way, clean & comfortable. I really enjoyed the added touch of the herbal tea selection provided. Host communication was on point at all times, just a message away. With fantastic local recommendations!!! Parking wasn't an issue we utilized the Victoria street carpark, easy, reasonably priced, and only a few seconds walk away from the apartment. 24/7 convenience store next to the carpark also was handy. Definitely feel we found a gem in the city, and will be our go to from now on for future stays. Exceptional apartment, and host's in every way. Thank you for a flawless air b&b experience, can absolutely only recommend.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Egle is an amazing host. She has thought of every detail and clearly communicates with the guests. The space is perfect for a quick trip to Auckland as the location cannot be beat. There are so many food options around and it’s walking distance to everything you would want to do in downtown Auckland. Definitely recommend checking out Chuffed for breakfast. This is a 10 out of 10 stay and you should not hesitate to book this listing.

The place was in a side street of Queen street. So super convenient location. However it can be very noisy, since downstairs are bars. So use some earplugs. The studio apartment is exactly the same as the pictures. All amenities are there. Love it has a good washing machine and high ceiling. The ceiling fan has double function, it can be used for drying clothes when you hang them below it, very convenient :)
Egle was flexible and provided with crystal clear instructions. And was always quick with my questions. I also used some of the provided travel tips, very proactive host!
Too bad I couldn’t stay longer since AKL was the last leg of my NZ trip, but i definitely will stay here again if i got the chance. Highly highly recommended host!

Really reasonable price for the CBD area and it is in the middle of all the shops, restaurants, an amazing pier with a beautiful, modern mall and more. The side street it's located has bars and restaurants, and within a couple of blocks, at least three world class coffee shops, like Chuff, The Shelf, and Scarecrow and there may be more!
The apartment is cozy and well done with a comfy modern chair and a table for two in addition to the two beds. I would say the only thing to keep in mind is that it is in a busy area so there is city noise, but our host provided earplugs. Loved the option to walk anywhere we needed to go and find great food in minutes.

Egle was an extremely helpful host, allowing us to check in at 3am when our flight was delayed, and giving us heaps of recommendations for things to do! The instructions Egle provided for check in were super easy, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
