A lovely loft apartment in the heart of Auckland city. Easy to get around, walkable to/from attractions. Well maintained apartment, felt very safe as a solo female traveller. Highly recommended, I'd definitely stay again.

In the heart of the CBD, it's very central, where you can find everything! Across the street is the New World supermarket, which is highly regarded in Auckland. The house is very large, with a large bedroom and an equipped kitchen! would stay here again.

Another great stay in Auckland in one of Stefans apartments. Incredible how quiet it is considering its location. It's modern and bright and everything is so accessible from the apartment. Communication is top notch. There are two apartments in this building and I have had the please of staying in both. They are my first go to now for booking accommodation in Auckland. Cheers Sheryl

The loft was spacious and great for our 2 person stay. We were comfortable and cosy and would definitely stay here again. Stefan was extremely helpful and flexible and helped us out with any questions we had. Great place:)

Pros: Great spot located right in the heart of downtown Auckland. Close to the waterfront and other typical attractions. Walkable. Vibrant. Beautiful views from the apartment. Two floors which is class. Has everything you need including washer/dryer, beautiful kitchen, and other amenities. Cons: Loud. There was construction going on while I was staying. Unbearably loud at times. Also, to get to the apartment you have to walk up multiple flights of stairs. Not necessarily a bad thing but just something to take note of, especially if you have a lot of luggage. Also, because it’s located in the city there is a big homeless presence. Again, not necessarily a bad thing, but something to take note of especially if you are coming home late at night. Also there is no free street parking nearby so if you have a car you have to park elsewhere. Overall: Great spot. Would stay again 👍

We had a convenient and mostly satisfactory stay overall. The apartment was exceptionally clean, private, and in a perfect location. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we appreciated thoughtful touches like a private washing machine, heated bathroom tiles, and a heated towel rack. A supermarket right in front made everything convenient. Overall, the space felt perfect until construction inside the building started. The major downside was the drilling noise inside the building every morning. It was extremely loud (around 110 db), woke us up from sleep, and often continued for hours into the afternoon. The host was responsive and offered a partial refund, which we appreciated, though it would have been better if the noise issue could have been resolved. The wifi also fluctuated at times and required manual router resets, which may be difficult for guests studying or working remotely. If it weren’t for these issues, this would have been an easy 5-star stay.

Loved it here - very central, easy walking distance to the trains, Commercial Bay, a mini supermarket just across the street. Very lively area - don't expect a quiet night if you're there on a Friday evening - but nothing unexpected for being in the city. The blinds shut out a lot of sound and light so still easy to rest. Felt very private, was very spacious - a surprise for a city centre apartment! Would def stay again.

It was really good location. There was a problem opening the front door during my stay. When I arrived, I told the host about it, but there was no particular response, but it was fixed on the last day. Overall it was really great place to stay. Place was just like a picture. I would stay again:)

Great location right in the heart of Auckland. Nice quality place and responsive host. Only thing to take into account is that accessing the room requires going up three flights of stairs due to there being no lift. Wasn’t a huge issue for me, but something to consider depending on your abilities and/or how much luggage you’re carrying.

It’s a perfect place to explore the city. I was first afraid there might be noise but it is super quiet upstairs. Has a super modern bathroom and the interior overall is super nice in industrial style. We loved that there was a washing machine (with washing powder) and a dryer. Made life much easier. Also kitchen is well equipped! Cheers!

This Queen St. apartment was perfect for our stay! The central location meant everything was close by. Commercial Bay was just a short walk away, and the supermarket was right across the road. Self-check-in was super simple and easy. There was more than enough space; getting an apartment this spacious in Auckland was great! It had a cool industrial aesthetic, just like the pictures online. While it was quite noisy at night, the apartment sits directly on the Main Street, I loved hearing the city come alive! The bedroom on the second floor was quiet and had great blackout blinds for a restful sleep. Just a note: The apartment requires climbing three flights of stairs, but that shouldn't be a problem for most people. The team was very responsive, and communication was easy. There was a problem with the Wi-Fi when we arrived, but they resolved it quickly. All in all, this was one of our best Airbnb stays ever, and I highly recommend it!

The apartment is fantastic and situated in a perfect location. The bedroom is quiet, at the back of the apartment with great block-out blinds. Access is easy with a lockbox located at the apartment. There are quite a few stairs to climb but not an issue if you're fit and able. We appreciated being allowed a last-minute early check-in. However, be aware that additional requests come with extra charges. For instance, the early check-in cost $70 and extra towels beyond the one provided per person comes at an extra cost of $60 call-out fee. We dare not ask for more teabags beyond the single one we received. Addressing such requests as a courtesy would greatly enhance guest satisfaction in the future. Only other issue, one of the couches was missing its legs and was resting on the ground. We assume it will be replaced soon, considering our early check-in may have prevented them from addressing it. Despite these minor issues, we would highly recommend this apartment.

Great, accessible location, directly on Queen Street. Nicely decorated as well, with working listed amenities. The apartment would be perfect if not for three things: 1. Pillows on the sofa were extremely dusty, which I don't understand as the rest of the apartment was pristine. 2. The sink in the toilet clogs up very easily so every time you use it (ie. brushing your teeth and rinsing your mouth), it takes sometimes hours for the water to clear. Also, if you rinse your mouth, wash your face or do a shave, the residue will be left on the sink once the water clears. I suspect the pipes might be severely clogged up. 3. The bed is comfortable, however, the bedsheets are not the best. It's quite rough on the skin. There was an issue with wifi but was resolved. This was not a problem for me but it should be mentioned that the apartment is a walk-up, so to get to the apartment you'd have to climb 3 flights of stairs. Other than that, an amazing stay!

The place has the industrial aesthetic that I so love, and it's in a really lively district. This means that on the weekends you'll be serenaded by music and partygoers until the wee hours. Some people love that, I wasn't a huge fan. The bedroom has blackout shades which is amazing, it also has only one set of lights. So the lighting situation at night time isn't great. Bathroom has new washer/dryer and underfloor heating. Sink needs some drain solution poured in. Before checking into the place I was asked to explain my one negative review out of 50 other positive reviews (from 8 years ago). Since it's a management company it's hard to keep track of communications since you're speaking to two groups. The local Auckland group was great once I was able to reach them by phone. They sorted out my stay and dealt with my issues promptly. If you can get over the fact that communications is tough and you need to pay an extra deposit, do book with Zodiak.

Stefan and his team are very friendly and responds promptly. The place is as the photo looks like and the check-in though in a different location should be straightforward. The apartment has everything you need it is one of the most complete airbnb in have been in. The bed was firm which was amazing and the pillows fluffy!!! The only downside for me was that there are 3 flight of stairs (48 steps) before you reach the apartment which is on the third floor. I had a 30kg luggage and 7 kg smaller luggage with my handbag which was a struggle. The The The The World was the only thing Overall an ok place, and appreciate the hospitality Stefan and the team have provided!

Overall we had a comfortable stay. There are many pros to this apartment, the biggest one being the location - smack bang on queen street in the heart of Auckland. The apartment itself was comfortable and had everything we needed. The big bedroom was beautiful and the bed was comfortable. Stefan and the rest of the staff that we communicated with were friendly and very responsive. I say this because we had a couple of issues. 1. The wifi wasn’t working when we first got there, but Stefan was very prompt in his responses and got this sorted for us. 2. There were a couple of issues with cleanliness - one of the pillows on the couch was dirty with lots of hair; the air conditioner vent had what looked like mould on it (we couldn’t use it and it was warm in Auckland when we were there). Again, the team responded to me straight away to let me know someone would clean the air conditioner, but this never happened. If these things get sorted, the apartment is a great place to stay.
