Photos show nice balcony facing sea. Instead assigned to a room with no privacy if NOT TOTALLY CURTAINED DOWN! Balcony became USELESS! No way to get back to the building asa room if keys were left inside room! No WiFi in and around the building causing problems!

We would like to clarify that the listing does not advertise sea views, and the photos provided accurately reflect the apartment and its outlook. While the building is located on Princes Wharf and surrounded by water, this particular apartment does not face the sea. In regard to privacy, the interior of the apartment is fitted with full-length curtains and blinds to ensure guest comfort. In the event of being locked out, assistance can be arranged to regain access to the apartment. As this is a privately owned property rather than a hotel, on-site reception or staff are not available at all times, but we do our best to help as promptly as possible when notified WiFi is available in the apartment. Had we been informed of any connectivity issues during your stay, we would have been happy to assist. As noted, this is a privately managed apartment rather than a hotel room, and this distinction is made within the listing. We aim to provide a well-equipped and comfortable space for our guests, and we regret if there was any misunderstanding. We really like this apartment as it's spacious for a studio and it's not far from britomart and queen street. Clean and easy to check in. The maintenance aspect needs to be improved, as other airbnbs we have stayed at before fix facilities very quickly. The washer and dryer was broken for a while and not fixed yet. Hope to be better next time!

Stefan’s place was in a great location right in city and close to restaurants. We didn’t really have any trouble with noise. Only thing was the washing machine didn’t work which was a great inconvenience as Stefan did enquire if it was working.

Check-in is a little tricky, and you need to have good wifi to download instructions on the boarding pass provided. WiFi instructions are within boarding pass as well, which made it tricky to communicate with host to arrange a way to get in, causing delay. Washer and dryer were broken, I emailed host as instructed and nobody ever came to fix it. Kettle is also broken- lid won’t open. So while the unit was nice and in a great area, it was a little unpolished.

I spent one month at Stefan’s studio flat on Princess Wharf. Pros The location is excellent. It is very central and a few minutes walk from the centre of Auckland, ferries, supermarket and transport. The studio is double glazed and has everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The walkways and lifts are cleaned daily and I felt really safe as you had a fob to get into the building and into the first floor flats. Cons The noise at the weekend is unbearable. Gangs of youths race up and down the wharf in noisy engined cars, reviving their engines and groups shouting. This didn't stop until 6am. Even with earplugs, it was impossible to sleep. Checking in was not straightforward. I had to pay $45 to the luggage store next door whilst I walked a 20 minute round trip to collect the keys from a lockbox. There is a lockbox collection literally next door to the property. The dividing curtain and the rail fell down in the night as it was very heavy which was scary. I reported it.

Gutes Appartment. Günstiger Preis. Müll muss selbst weggebracht werden, in einen Raum außerhalb der Wohnung trotz zu hoher Reinigungsgebühr (ca. US$ 75). Gemessen am Mindestlohn, kann das kleine Appartement damit fast 4h gereinigt werden. Keine reinigungskraft benötigt so lange.

The location is fantastic, the bed yet claimed as King are 2 single beds joined together. Not flexible for a 30min earlier check in as long as you pay. The place was smelling fried pork once arrived, oil all over the kitchen splashback. Left the unit open for few hours to get rid of the smell. Once notified, the cleaner came and swiped the splashback. Almost 20% of the value of the stay is cleaning fee - They ask you to remove your rubbish of the unit to a ''bin room'' before you leave - yet not bin room was found, even though part of me thought it was a joke. Given it was the highest ever paid cleaning fee - the service provided is not up to standards. Overall good.

Stefano and the team were very responsive and clear on instructions. They are very reliable and friedly host. The place is right in the city centre close to all the public transport, shops and restaurants. The place is clean, secure, and pleasant.

Thanks for the awesome place to stay would highly recommend to others, place was clean, close to things to do, within walking distance to activities. Only issue we had was with having no allocated parking we could use without paying a arm and leg for, the Wilson carpark that surrounded the airbnb property was so expensive . But aparts from that was a really good weekend stay and would happily return. Host was awesome very responsive thanks heaps
