Retro style on Queen Street

We loved our stay here! Hosts were extremely responsive and location waa very central. Highly recommend

Had a great stay. Bed was very comfortable, the space was clean and looked exactly like the photos. Shower was hot and kitchen served us well. When booking, take note of the check-in instructions! The key pickup spot is a few blocks away from the building. You’ll also be asked to fill out some third party paperwork when you book. Location is unbeatable for exploring the city and you’re close to the ferry as well. Highly recommend.

Sehr tolle Unterkunft. Ich hatte kurz überlegt einen Stern Abzug zu geben, wegen der Contra Punkte unten. Aber alles andere war so toll, dass 5 Sterne wirklich angemessen sind. Wir würden ohne zu zögern noch einmal hier übernachten! Pro: - sehr sehr sauber - super Dusche, mit heißem Wasser und viel Druck - Komplett ausgestattete Küche mit wirklich allem was man braucht. (Besteck, Topf, Pfanne, Ofen, Auflaufform, Gläser, usw...) - Waschmaschine und Trockner Kombi - mega Lage direkt an der Queens Street - schnelles und stabiles Internet! Contra: - Der Schlüssel muss im HQ abgeholt werden, das sind 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Grundsätzlich kein großes Problem, aber wenn man viel Gepäck hat kann das ein Problem werden - WLAN Passwort steht im Online Handbuch... nur blöd wenn man kein mobiles Internet hat und deshalb gar nicht erst ans Passwort kommt - Keine Heizung, Ende Mai wars schon etwas kühl in der Wohnung

Hi Hannes, So pleased to see that you enjoyed your stay and found everything you needed! We really appreciate the feedback. Apologies that you could not utilise the heater during your stay. There is an oil heater in the apartment. This was just in the bedroom closet. We understand your comment regarding the wifi however, there is a folder labelled "compendium" in the shelves under the TV. This holds a lot of useful info about the apartment including the wifi login details. Again, thank you for your feedback. A great Airbnb studio, well equipped and lovely decorated. There was no hot/cold water during 1 day but the Zodiak Team informed us early, which was good. During our 2nd night, there was a false fire alarm with evacuation - an interesting experience though.

Great stay - apartment had everything we needed and very central. Clean and instructions made perfect sense. Can be noisy at night but that’s what you expect staying in the city.

We had a fab time staying in the heart of Auckland, and would definitely stay at Stefan’s again. A beautiful, old-world building, but with plenty of security and a very modern apartment. We found everything we needed to cook in the flat, the supermarkets are close by, and the bed was super comfy. If you want peace and quiet, it might not be the place for you, as Queen St tends to be quite noisy at night - but in terms of access to the city and being at the heart of it all, you couldn’t ask for a better location.

I loved it. It’s right in the city so it was so easy to get places by walking and looked exactly like photo provided. We stayed for three days and thoroughly enjoyed, I recommend this place heaps ???

My primary reason in town was to spend time with my daughter, who had her own accom and to get some priority work completed over the long weekend. This residence was perfect for what I was in town for, great configuration, spacious for a cosy room, fully furnished, great sized couch, smart tv, good view of lower Queen Street, I enjoyed the noise & activity down on Queen St. There are plenty of local eateries & amenities, but because the room is so well equipped & comfortable, I was happy to largely stay in and enjoy my time. My daughter also joined me, and the room really made it a good stay. Would you believe it was the room's jigsaw that was a highlight, which we worked on to complete but fell short. Reading prior reviews helped prepare for parking as the accom does not have nearby parking, which could've been difficult as I had bags & a chilly bin of food. Take heed of Host's advice to 'check local parking opening times'. I highly recommend both the room & host.

Die Lage ist sehr zentral im CBD, alles gut zu Fuss erreichbar, auch die Lebensmittelläden. Restaurant, Hafen und Shopping sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Da man abends nur mit Chip ins Gebäude und den Lift bedienen kann, fühlt man sich als Frau sicher. Leider hat es einige Bettler und Betrunkene auf der Strasse, was abends als Frau unangenehm ist. Die Wohnung ist für 1 Person selbst für eine längere Zeit ideal, gut aufgeteilt und ist mit allem gut ausgestattet. Es hat genügend Abstellfläche und Kleiderbügel. Abzüge gibt es für den Teppich im Wohn- und Schlafzimmer, für die Sauberkeit von Waschmaschine, Dusche und Comfort Sofa und Bürostuhl. Wir haben jedoch festgestellt, dass der Hygienestandart in den Unterkünften legerer gehalten wird, egal ob Airbnb, Bookingcom oder Hotel. In der Regel musste ich immer nachputzen. Für diese Unterkunft wäre meine Empfehlung, alle Mängel gleich zu melden oder zu dokumentieren, auch wenn man das Gefühl hat, dass diese schon länger bestehen.

Overall, Stefan's unit was excellent! Great location in the CBD, within walking distance of stores, restaurants, and the waterfront. The unit was clean and well appointed with comfortable furniture, a comfortable bed, and plenty of linens. The kitchen had all the basics, and the washing machine even came with two detergent options. Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) were all provided, as described in the listing. Communication was good, although the check-in process (i.e., picking up keys at a different location) was not as smooth as other places I've stayed. Check out was a bit tricky too. Overall, gorgeous unit in an excellent location. I'd be happy to stay here again!

Great communication. Nice place though Queen Street can be pretty noisy at night. Small hiccup at checkin but that was resolved within 5 minutes. Overall excellent service.
