Really disappointed in the whole process, the extra forms to fill in as part of confirming the property, and the credit card hold. No carpark despite advertising this, and needing to send photos and videos to explain. Bins were full of old rubbish. And then we had a debacle with the lock. We were asked numerous times to return to the house and to pay upfront for a locksmith, all of this occurred during a family event that we had travelled to Auckland for. It caused unnecessary stress and deterred from what otherwise would have been an enjoyable Easter holiday.

The area was perfect for us as it was just around the corner from our daughters. The block of apartments next door had every outside light on all night so our bedroom was like daylight. The outdoor area was a bit rough but the apartment suited our needs

Why are they asking for my credit card information? Unexpected $30 check in fee. They expect you to clean up after yourself. Why are we paying a cleaning fee? Front and back yard was trashed.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The location was central, making it convenient for us to get places. The property while.a little small, was clean and tidy, and it suited our needs. It was a great getaway but the space is small even for two guests. The bathroom is tiny so I felt really squashed getting in and out. The space in the second bedroom is tight too. Surely I’m not that fat ? We had a slight issue with the wifi connection when we arrived. This wasn’t resolved until a few days in but it wasn’t a major biggie. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this cozy place and the location was perfect for us to get around. I think with a few modifications and maintenance around the place it’ll be worth the money.

The apartment has a nice room layout. The bathroom is already very used. The flows in the shower are leaking. All in all, the apartment is no longer on the stand, as shown in the pictures. It is used, but not maintained. For example, the terrace and the windows are dirty. What we explicitly didn't like was that everything was tidy, but not very clean. The floor, table and kitchen were sticky. The question arises for which service a cleaning fee (this high) is charged. The comments from the feed are all correct and have not been fixed yet. It ist too expensive for what you get (at the moment). If the points are fixed, it is a nice place to be.

Exactly what we wanted, space, private and the little outside area was perfect. It is a great home away from home. We were able to have lunch with some friends and leave when we want come back when we want without the burden of distraction to the owner. We have had experience of staying at Airbnb where the owner is also living there which made it hard to go as you would your own home and come back. Thank you for allow us to enjoy your place. It is also a great location. Close to both CBU and motorways.

Very disappointed. It took 4 of the 9 days to get him to send someone to get the stove and TV to be usable. There was no parking space for the first two days and no street parking available. Stephan did reimburse expense when tow truck was required, but refused to refund for the days the unit was not meeting basic expectations.

Furniture – generally nice. Location – awful – building site on one side, poverty-stricken neighbourhood on other. Walls paper thin and neighbours really noisy. Parking – none allocated , you have to take your chances Kitchen – nice but minimalist at best. Kitchen appliance filthy. Aptm Windows not working, paint flaking & disgustingly dirty. Rear slider door lock faulty and untrustworthy Bathroom – sink (tiny) doesn’t drain properly & toilet doesn’t flush properly. Generally tired and not in keeping with the price of the apartment. Paid large cleaning fee for booking, yet check out instructions expected us to 'help out' the cleaner by removing all your rubbish from aptm Overall – never ever stay here again

Thank you for staying with us Poppy. I'm sorry you felt as though you couldn't reach out during your stay with these issues as we would have done our best to rectify them right away. We would also have been able to let you know where the parking space is as there is one allocated and we sent the instructions in the check-in message. I'm not sure what forms your conclusion of a poverty stricken neighbourhood but the price is well adjusted to the location compared to our centrally located properties. Thank you for bringing our attention to the areas that need maintenance - we will get someone in to resolve these right away.

The unit was easy enough to find the area is very rundown due to demolition. There was a broken wine glass in the garden right by the entrance. The inside looks ok at first but the unit is very tired the rug & sofa had stains & there was an unevenness of flooring in front of the bathroom. the outside area had cleaning stuff in the corner and a bucket with empty beer bottles the blinds are too low and couldn't close. The rooms are ok but very dusty under beds the windows in bedrooms don't open enough to let fresh air. Communication with Stefan is very good I also rang the office several times and the staff were very pleasant to deal with.

It was a beautifully decorated place but nothing was functional.Every room was a disaster including the bathroom .Upstairs the windows didn’t open ,the blinds didn’t work the table lamps and fans didn’t work . It was impossible to sleep as there was no air circulation .Shockingly,some one entered the home at least on two counts that we know of , when we were not at home ,it was deeply disappointing.

The owner's have tried hard to update this property so despite its external appearance, the internal renovation is nice. Unfortunately, there are some structural issues (dent / hole in floor under the carpet outside of bathroom, tiles on the floor of bathroom that are loose, broken window locks as wood is old, some mould / lack of cleaning in the bathroom) that really need to be addressed. We also had a day where the electronic combination lock opened (allowing the front door to swing open) when we were out for a whole day. Pretty concerning that one can't be sure the property is secure when you are out. Whilst we elected to get this repaired whilst we were renting the space, I do not believe it was done. That said, we rented this place because it looked nice and was cheaper than others. Good for a few days but not picture perfect.

Comfortable apartment, nice at first glance but could do with a more thorough clean and maintenance. Super hot upstairs even with aircon blasting down stairs but beds are comfy and good tv in lounge. Close to Mt Smart Stadium which is why we booked for Red Hot Chills concert.

Easy to find & great communication. Just needs a little maintenance ie the blinds wouldn’t go up all the way so my partner kept hitting his head and the bed slats at the bottom are broken so we were sleeping on a slight lean… apart from that very nice and clean.

I booked this apartments for my family who is visiting Auckland for the first time. The place was not very clean, there was a mouse outside in the garden (which we don’t have access to). The area seems dodgy and very noisy with construction. I wouldn’t recommend the place if you have hight cleaning standards, and want a peacful stay.

This property is run by an agency. They send you to a corporate portal to fish for other travel info and attempt to get you to book airport transfers through them too. The portal asks for far more information than is necessary and will not let you proceed without first providing a photo of a passport or driver license. When faced with check in problems I did call and they were solved quickly. This apartment is in a very run down block of apartments. The apartment has been done up on the inside and is done so tastefully enough. Once inside I noticed ants were scattered around and found my box of cereal on morning two riddled with them. The Dyson vacuum cleaner against the wall was full. The sofa had stains all over it. There is mould all around the window in the bathroom. The blinds downstairs were inoperable without first untangling the mess of cords. There were cleaning supplies on the outside table. Two of the three nights I was woken in the early hours by noisy neighbours, one of the nights I almost called the police as I was concerned about domestic violence. The location itself is fine and a nice area of restaurants and shops is a 15 min walk away. The location in general is central enough to go elsewhere in Auckland without too much traffic pain. Overall a disappointment due to cleanliness issues and checkin portal rigmarole.

Great host: communication is without delay, attentive, accommodating, and very professional! Good for the value. Flat is located in Ellerslie, close proximity to the motorway, 15 mins to Missions Bay, 20 mins (motorway) to CBD. Just note that the flat is further inside a driveway and can easily be missed. No complaints. MB

Tidy place. Had everything we needed. J ust a point about parking, can be tricky to find a park during the day as there are heaps of cars around. We parked by the recycle bins the first night ad there was no where else. But then moved the car in the morning to over by the grass.

A BIG NOOOO My experience was bad from the beginning. I booked the flat because I liked the pictures , even though it’s expensive more than most flats in Auckland even in Auckland Center. - I texted the host to send me the access code for the flat and he ask me to send him our IDs and sign a contract on an external link online and fill a rather lengthy application with our flight number etc. which I’ve never experienced on Airbnb before. - the pictures on Airbnb were not the same in reality at all. - the flat is not cleaned properly, the garden was not cleaned we couldn’t sit there . There heaps of rubbish outside the flat. - the building is a very old building in a very doggie area , I don’t think it’s safe at least for us. - the appliances in the kitchen were old , and there wasn’t enough cutlery. And the list goes on I have pictures to proof my claim

An ok apartment, the bathroom was unclean which was extremely disappointing considering the $150 cleaning fee that was not discounted. When discussed with the host they arranged a deep clean for after we left so hopefully this is no longer a problem. Bathroom window wouldn’t close and ranch slider has a massive crack in it. It would be ok if these things are resurrected. Had everything we needed. We won’t be going back to this apartment.

This is a good place for a small family, its useful to have bedrooms upstairs and the lounge downstairs. The house is well equipped with kitchen and washing machine which is useful. The air con and fans were quite handy as it did get quite warm on the top floor. The only major thing i didn't like is not having a carpark as the house is deep down a driveway. Had to park on the street all the time and walk in with kids and bags.
